Validators and Pools

Overview

On Enjin Blockchain the processing and security is handled by validators which are rewarded for their work. In order to have an active validator which earns rewards you must be nominated by enough ENJ tokens. The nominations come from nomination pools which are created by Degen owners and share in the validation rewards.

Etherscape participates in this process through running both validators and nomination pools. ENJ holders can contribute by staking their ENJ in our nomination pools. This will earn them ENJ rewards and also support the Etherscape community. Ethercape validator and nomination pool rewards go directly towards benefitting the community.

Nomination Pools

Nomination pools hold staked ENJ and use it to nominate validators. This allows any ENJ holder to participate in securing the chain and earn rewards. Depending on the pool, you could earn 10-25% APY on your ENJ by staking it.

Nomination pools can be configured to keep a percentage of the rewards. In the case of Etherscape, 100% of the profits kept by the pool are contributed directly to the community wallet. The community wallet is used to reward players on a weekly basis, thus benefitting the entire community.

If you want to contribute to the Etherscape pools they are the following ones...

Name
Pool ID
Degen
Max ENJ

Etherscape #502

13

4M

Rogues Refuge

28

1M

In the future we intend to reward players that contribute to our nomination pools in game. Support for this will come after Enjin ships support for the Relay Chain in the Enjin Platform.

Validators

Validators do the actual work of processing blocks and securing the blockchain in exchange for rewards. They can be configured to keep a percentage of the rewards for themselves, and the rest of the rewards are passed on to the pools that nominate them. Etherscape runs validators which are configured to keep a standard 5% of rewards and pass the rest on to its nominators. For the rewards kept, 100% are deposited to the Etherscape Royalty Wallet. From there, 25% goes to the Community Wallet and the rest is used to fund Etherscape development and operations.
