Nightfall¶
The veil has weakened once again, and the Haunted have returned with new tricks. Strange chests now appear throughout the world, promising treasure to anyone brave enough to open them. Some hold treats. Others hold curses, restless spirits, or something much worse.
Event is scheduled to run from October 13, 2026 at 00:00 UTC until November 15, 2026 at 00:00 UTC.
Bone Effigy Token Sale
Bone Effigy tokens are required to mint seasonal rewards. The Bone Effigy token sale goes live on October 8, 2026 at 13:00 UTC on NFT.io. Each Bone Effigy costs 30 ENJ, and players can pre-reserve up to 10 per wallet by placing eligible advance offers before the public listing.

Earth Multiverse Achievements¶
The Earth Multiverse season spans both the Nightfall Halloween event and the upcoming winter event. Players can earn Earth Multiverse points through objectives shared across the full season, along with faction-specific achievements during each event. Completing every achievement awards a total of 180 points.

The season-wide achievements can be progressed during both events. Haunted achievements are completed during Nightfall, while Frozen Blight achievements become available with the winter event.
To unlock Earth Multiverse rewards:
- Launch Etherscape and create or log in to your account.
- Complete the achievements below to earn Earth Multiverse points and unlock rewards.
Haunted Chests¶
While the event is active haunted chests have a chance to spawn on all maps but a they spawn at the highest rate on the Cemetery maps which are unlocked by using a Haunted Key. Haunted chests come in a variety of different types with different outcomes:
- Loot drops including trick or treat bags
- Some chests are locked and require the lock picking skill to open
- Ambushes from the Haunted faction
- Haunted blessings to boost your character
- Haunted curses for your trespasses
Haunted curses last for 10 minutes but can be removed earlier by using a Purge Haunted Curse potion which can be crafted using alchemy.
Trick or Treat Bags¶
Every loot-bearing Haunted Chest grants a Trick or Treat Bag. Haunted bosses and Legendary Haunted elites also have a chance to drop one. Bag rarity scales with the quest level. Opening a bag has a chance for each of the following rewards:

Trick or Treat Enjinite
Enjinite claimed from Trick or Treat Bags does not count toward the player's daily Enjinite limit. These claims are still subject to the global weekly claim limit.
Bone Effigy Pre-Sale¶
Bone Effigies unlock the event's on-chain reward pool. A maximum of 1,700 Bone Effigies can be minted:
- 1,400 will be sold on NFT.io.
- 300 are reserved for in-game minting and special event rewards.
The NFT.io sale opens on October 8, 2026 at 13:00 UTC at a price of 30 ENJ per Bone Effigy.
Players can pre-reserve up to 10 Bone Effigies per wallet by placing an offer of 30 ENJ or more before the public sale begins. Eligible advance offers will be accepted before the remaining supply is listed for all players. See Advance Token Sales for instructions on placing an advance offer.
Each Bone Effigy can be crafted at the Etherforge in order to receive and random reward from the season reward pool. Below is the recipe of resources required for each mint:

Post-Event Bone Effigy Conversion
After the Nightfall event ends, Bone Effigy items can be crafted into a 30 ENJ Cache for free in game. All other rewards will be held by the game wallet for possible use in a future event.

Emote System¶
The new emote system gives players more expressive ways to communicate and interact without relying only on chat. Players can equip up to eight emotes and quickly select them from a radial emote wheel. Depending on the emote, nearby players may see a character animation, a dialogue icon, a particle effect, and a matching chat message.
Eight emotes are unlocked for every player by default. Additional emotes can be unlocked by holding supported tokens, beginning with the Bat Flurry Token from Nightfall.

Gothic Weapon Upgrades¶
Each Gothic weapon can be upgraded into an Artifact-rarity Elite Gothic version at the Etherforge. Upgrades requires 500 Haunted Essence, 250 Legendary Infusions, 100 Spirit Shards, and 5,000,000 Gold.
