Prop 19: Community Wallet Sustainability

Warning

This is a proposal, not an immediate payout change. Implementation requires community approval, a successful Enjin treasury proposal, and receipt of both funding contributions. Otherwise, weekly payouts remain at 3%.

Background

The Community Wallet holds funds set aside for players and community initiatives. It funds weekly Enjinite Drops, Heroic Quests, Arena, and Stream Rewards.

Proposal #19 aims to give those rewards a stronger, more sustainable foundation by pairing new funding with a lower weekly payout rate.

Proposed Changes

  • Add 300,000 ENJ: 150,000 ENJ from the development team and 150,000 ENJ requested from the Enjin treasury.
  • Reduce weekly payouts from 3% to 1.5% of the Community Wallet balance.
  • Increase the Community Wallet's share of Royalty Wallet income from 25% to 30%.

The additional funding would help offset the lower payout rate, while a larger reserve supports longer-lasting player rewards. Reward categories would keep their relative shares, and future payouts would still depend on the wallet balance. This is not a guarantee of a fixed weekly reward amount.

Approval and Funding Conditions

Community approval is the first step, not authorization for an immediate payout cut:

  1. The community approves this governance proposal.
  2. The team then seeks approval for the Enjin treasury proposal.
  3. Both the development team's 150,000 ENJ and the treasury's 150,000 ENJ arrive in the Community Wallet.
  4. Only then do the payout and income-share changes take effect.

If the treasury proposal does not succeed or both contributions are not received, weekly payouts remain at 3%.

Voting Options

  • Yes: Approve the funding package, 1.5% weekly payouts, and 30% community income share, subject to the conditions above.
  • No: Keep the current 3% weekly payout and community income share without implementing this funding package.
  • Abstain: Choose not to take a position while remaining eligible for participation rewards.

Voting Details

  • Voting opens: November 5, 2026 at 14:00 UTC / 6 AM PST.
  • Voting closes: November 10, 2026 at 14:00 UTC / 6 AM PST.
  • Where to vote: Visit the Governor northeast of town and open the governance window.
  • Voting power: One vote per Imperial Sovereign.
  • Participation rewards: A 1,500 ENJ total pool, shared proportionally by votes cast, including abstentions. This is not 1,500 ENJ per person.
