Prop 18: Next Major Feature Area¶

This is a proposal to decide which major feature area the team focuses on next. The winning area will guide development for the coming cycle. Nothing is committed unless the community selects it through a governance vote.

Preamble¶

This proposal lets the community choose which major feature area the team focuses on next. Each option below represents a large body of work that will shape the direction of Etherscape over the coming development cycle. Vote for the area you most want to see prioritized.

Voting Options¶

Option 1 — Heroic Quest Revamp¶

Add more variety and challenge to quests, increase completion rewards, and raise the max quest level above 20.

Option 2 — Class Improvements¶

Refactor and expand underplayed classes that need a boost, and potentially add a couple of new classes.

Option 3 — Market Improvements¶

Add puts and gets for stackable items with price history, an offers system for criteria-based pricing, and a possible fiat payment option alongside ENJ.

Option 4 — Quality of Life Improvements¶

Add character loadouts that can be saved and swapped quickly, and keyrings to store and use keys quickly.

Option 5 — Land Ownership & Overworld¶

Earn and purchase land plots in the overworld and customize them to unlock bonuses and rewards.

Parties, cross-server interactions, viewing other players' inventories, and more.

Option 7 — Android Support¶

Commit to building a first prototype to understand the effort required to fully ship on Android.

Option 8 — Abstain¶

Choose not to vote on this proposal but remain eligible for participation rewards.

Voting Details¶

Voting opens: July 15, 2026
Voting closes: July 20, 2026
Voting power: 1 vote per Imperial Sovereign token held
Participation reward: 3,000 ENJ distributed among all voters

Voting does not open until July 15, so there is still time to stack more Imperial Sovereigns beforehand. The more you hold, the more votes you cast — and the larger your share of the ENJ reward pool. See Governance Rewards for how payouts are calculated.

The winning area represents a significant investment of development time and will set the tone for Etherscape's next chapter. This is your opportunity as an Etherborn to steer that direction — whether you want deeper quests, stronger classes, a richer market, everyday quality-of-life upgrades, land to call your own, social play, or a path toward Android.
