Etherborn, the time has come to venture back to the Frozen North. The powers of the blight have increased with the coming of winter and the frost has become an unstoppable force. Prepare yourself to face a chill beyond what you thought possible. Only the truly determined will survive.
Features
All new Frozen North maps with fresh design and art including a winter town map.
Terrain can now have impact on your character when you stand on it. In the Frozen North you will encounter ice patches which cause your character to slide.
New enemy types and mechanics including the new Frost Boulder, Yeti Den and Tornado Pillar enemies and the new Gronch boss.
New Frost Bite / Warmth map mechanic
New rewards including weapons and armor skins that provide seasonal boosts.

The Frozen North
Venture through the all new Frozen North maps and face off against new and revamped enemies from the Frozen Blight faction.
But be wary of the cold. While in the frozen north you will accumulate stacks of the Frost Bite debuff which will damage you over time. The higher the level of hte map, the faster froze bite will accumulate. If you hit 100 stacks... you are fully frozen and die instantly.
To combat the cold you can unlock tokens with the new "warmth" benefit. The more warmth you have the slower stacks of frost bite will accumulate. Also, you can build campfires across the maps in order to warm up and remove the stacks.
You will also need to refine your tactics. The ice patches in the Frozen North will cause you and your enemies to slide around making it harder to dodge attacks.
Accumulating Warmth
To survive at high levels in the Frozen North you will need to build up your Warmth stat. Below are the ways that you can stack Warmth on your account:
New "Frost Survival" mastery can be levelled to add warmth to you account. Kill Frozen Blight enemies in order to gain XP to this mastery. (50 max warmth)
New Reindeer and Yeti pets. (15 max warmth)
New Yeti Armor skins which can be upgraded. (22 max warmth)
New Festive Weapon skins. (21 max warmth)
Warmth potions crafted by the alchemist. (35 max warmth)
New Pets
We have added support for 2 new Enjin Blobs with seasonal bonuses. This includes the Reindeer Blob which was released last year to the community and the all new Yeti Blob which can be earned during this event. Equip these to help you stack Winter Essence and have enough Warmth to survive the North.

Winter Core Release
Winter cores are the key to earning rewards in the Venture to the North event. Each one of them can be minted to earn a random item from the rewards pool. There will be a total of 750 Winter Cores which matches with the 750 tokens in the reward pool.
There will be 2 ways to acquire winter core tokens:
Craft in-game
You can craft winter essence into winter cores in game. There will be a total of 250 cores available through this method. Each player can craft a maximum of 10. The resource cost to craft them increases with each time it is crafted.
There will be a sale of 500 cores on NFT.io. The base sale price will be 25 ENJ per core.
