The Etherscape has daily and weekly achievements which allow you to earn resources for your account. Achievements are unlocked doing normal gameplay activity such as killing enemies, gaining levels, and salvaging items. Over time, we will increase the diversity of activities used to earn achievement. Achievements are currently the only way to earn Gems which are a resource required for block chain interaction.
In the future we plan to add several new kinds of achievements...
Metaverse achievements which award tokens which have utility in other games
New player achievements which introduce players to all the features
Timed event achievements related to periodic releases
Location specific events once more diverse regions are released
