How to Tinker
You can use your tinkering skill at the tinkering station which is located in the blacksmiths house in the northeast part of town. As you create tools, you will level up your tinkering mastery, which will enable you to create more powerful and higher quality tools.
Tool Quality
When crafting tools, there is quality attribute. If your skill is low compared to the recipe you are crafting, then it could completely fail or result in a poor-quality tool with reduced stats. However, if your skill is high, then you have a chance to craft a high-quality tool with improved stats. Below are the possible qualifiers and their impact on the tools final power...
Broken: Crafting failed
Poor: -20% power
Average: normal power
Good: +10% power
Excellent: +20% power
Masterwork: +30% power

Crafted Quest Keys
Tinkers can also craft quest keys. When you salvage keys that are found as random drops on missions you will get Key Fragments. These fragments can then be used to craft faction keys, special event keys and random quest keys.
Random quest keys are unique items which have randomly rolled enhancers on them. You can use them to adjust quests that you start. The possible enhancers are the following...
