Etherscape is dedicated to sustainable designs that can last for years. This means we avoid highly inflationary systems and as a result have not launched our own token. Instead, we depend on Enjin which is a low float token that is almost fully unlocked. That being said, Etherscape still provides various play to earn opportunities which are generally funded by the Community Wallet which receives 25% of all game revenue. This page outlines the various play to earn opportunities in game.
Some items that can be found in game have significant value on the in-game market or on NFT.io. This includes rare Legendary / Sacred Legendary / Ascended Legendary items that can be found in game and minted on chain using the Etherforge. There are also limited supply event items which can be earned in game and will increase in value over time as the player base grows.
Enjinite is an in game virtual currency which tracks the value of ENJ at 100 to 1. Enjinite can drop in game from various activities including drops from enemies and heroic reward chests. Enjinite can be used to buy items on the market of can be swapped back to ENJ.
Heroic Quests have increased challenge and require using a Heroic Key to unlock. Completing the quest will award you with Heroic Reward Chests which have a probability of containing a Heroic Cache. The Heroic Cache has unbound gems which can be swapped directly to ENJ. The Heroic Caches rewards are increased by 1% of the total community wallet value every week.
Every week there is a fresh leaderboard competition for the highest level achieved in the Arena. The top 5 placing players are awarded with Gem rewards which are funded from the community wallet a 1% of the total value weekly. These Gems can be directly swapped to ENJ.
ENJ is directly rewarded to the wallets of all players who participate in governance proposals. Each governance proposal has an amount of bonus ENJ assigned to it which will be distributed to all players based on how many votes they cast. Players get one vote for each Imperial Sovereign that they hold in their wallet. So, the more Sovereigns that a player holds the more of the bonus they will receive.
